Many parents are outraged by the new system, and have told their children not to wear the badges.<br /><br />Brittan Elementary School in Sutter, CA, introduced the badge system on January 18. Each student must wear the ID card, which includes their photo, name and grade. A wireless transmitter beams their ID number to a teacher’s handheld computer when they walk through the doorway.
