Badgereels.com is a website that features badge reels only. Many of the retractors are made overseas and require larger bulk orders, however we also stock and carry quite a few styles. If your looking for an ID badge retractor check out www.badgereels.com.

Swivel Clip vs Alligator Clip - Badge Reels

At Security Imaging we sell all different styles of badge reels. Last year the swivel clip on our reels changed from a full bulldog clip to a half alligator clip.

Due to feed back from our customers we have now gone back to the bulldog clip because it grips clothing better. Swivel Hook Badge Reels are great for employees that don't have a pocket or belt loop to attach the badge reel to. The Swivel Bulldog clip can attach to dresses, suites, shirts etc. Simply pinch the clip to open and attach to clothing, once you release the clip it should grip your clothing.

We still have some stock of the alligator clip and will be selling that style until we run out and then we will update the sight to the full bulldog clip. If at anytime you want samples or prefer one over the other we should have both styles available.
